About Us
Edge of Frame is a boutique publicity firm based out of Manhattan's Lower East Side that specializes in - and loves - genre cinema. All-too-often, these important films are overlooked or dismissed by the media simply because they do not have the correct representation. At Edge of Frame, we prove that not only do these pictures deserve respect and admiration, but that they can assuredly get it.
Owned and operated by award-winning filmmaker and author Ted Geoghegan, Edge of Frame offers insight that few other firms can. With over 25 years in the industry, Geoghegan provides services that not only look good on paper, but actually elevate the projects he represents.
As a publicist, he knows what filmmakers want. As a filmmaker, he knows what publicists should be providing.
Geoghegan is the writer and director of We Are Still Here, which Rolling Stone touted as one of the best horror films of 2015. He then made the War of 1812-set thriller Mohawk (2017) and the Shudder Original Brooklyn 45. He has penned twelve additional features and co-wrote 2013's The Berlin File, which was the largest budgeted Korean film in history at the time. His prolific work as a producer spans film and television, and includes AMC's Queer for Fear: The History of Queer Horror alongside producer Bryan Fuller.
A celebrated screenwriter, Geoghegan is equipped to deliver sharp, eye-catching text that media is drawn to, while his years as an producer and director make him well-equipped to know what photo and video assets will elevate your project to the next level.
Between cinemas and VOD platforms, over fifty genre films are released to the public every single week. Make yours stand out by bringing aboard a team that adores horror, science fiction, fantasy, and action as much as you do.
The goal of every Edge of Frame campaign to is to break out of pack, deliver results that matter, and leave our clients happy. Email us today to discuss how our firm can shine a light on your genre project like absolutely no one else.

“Ted Geoghegan is a top movie PR man, who learned his craft the hard way—on the job.”
